Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Austin, TX to deliver reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the freedom to pick up extra shifts. The position offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and a fixed anchor shift with opportunities to earn more through the Earn‑A‑Shift program.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and vehicle patrols of buildings and parking areas.
• Monitor access to assigned areas and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and document activities.
• Maintain detailed logs and report observations to leadership and client representatives.
