Qualifications

• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and guests at a government location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas and report unusual activity.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports accurately and on schedule.
