Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Odessa, TX. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and earn more through the scheduling platform.

The position pays $25.00 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license, armed security experience, and a Texas Level III Armed Certification. You must be 21+ and able to pass background checks and drug screens.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license as per policy.
• Minimum 3 years combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 years armed security experience.
• Hold a Texas Level III Armed Certification and be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers and employees per site policy and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner and report as required.
• Conduct armed patrols across the retail site, including entrances, parking, and perimeters.
• Maintain awareness to deter theft and report suspicious activity with a professional presence.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment per laws, policies and site requirements.
