Job summary

Minnesota Medical Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist for a hybrid schedule (20–25 hours/week) with some remote work options in a family-oriented environment.

You will issue invoices via QuickBooks Online Advanced, process deposits, manage customer records, send reminders, handle collections, and help maintain accurate AR reporting to support smooth cash flow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in accounts receivable, preferably in a small business.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online (Advanced edition) proficiency with invoicing and collections.
• Strong AR processes knowledge: invoicing, aging, collections, reconciliation.
• Detail-oriented with excellent data entry accuracy.
• Professional communication via phone and email.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send customer invoices accurately and promptly using QuickBooks Online Advanced.
• Prepare and process daily/weekly deposits.
• Manage and update customer account information, ensuring records are current and accurate.
• Send invoice reminders and statements to customers as needed.
• Handle collections efforts, including following up on overdue accounts, communicating professionally with customers, and resolving payment disputes.
• Process memorized/recurring transactions and maintain related records.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and assist with related reporting.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations and cash flow.
