Job summary

Boston BioProducts is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to support customer billing, collect past due invoices, and reconcile accounts. The role is 100% on-site in Milford, MA, with a Monday–Friday 10am–2pm schedule.

Responsibilities include invoicing, applying payments, aging analysis, and resolving billing questions in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance. High school diploma required; associate degree preferred; biotech experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years AR/collections experience.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP software (NetSuite a plus).
• Clear, professional communication.
• Able to prioritize in a part-time schedule.
• Experience in biotech, life sciences, or manufacturing.
• Ability to manage high volume of accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send customer invoices and account statements.
• Record and apply incoming payments accurately.
• Review accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Research payment discrepancies, short payments, and billing questions.
• Reconcile customer accounts and help resolve outstanding balances.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to address invoice or PO issues.
• Maintain organized documentation and support month-end reporting.
