Montebello Family YMCA in Montebello, CA is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to maintain safe swimming conditions, monitor the pool, deck, and surrounding areas, and promote member safety in line with YMCA policies.

Mandatory certifications include Lifeguarding and CPR; age 16 or older. 1–2 years lifeguard experience preferred. Duties include emergency response, equipment checks, recordkeeping, and continuous aquatic safety vigilance.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Current Lifeguarding and CPR certifications required.
• 1–2 years lifeguard experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuous, uninterrupted scanning of pool and aquatic area.
• Enforce safety rules and respond to hazards following YMCA policies.
• Perform equipment checks and maintain required records.
• Respond to emergencies and complete related reports.
