Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation is seeking a Part Time Aquatic Specialist to join the team at Marion Diehl Recreation Center. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid North Carolina or South Carolina driver’s license and county driving privileges.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR/AED, Lifeguard Certification, Starfish Instructor Certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and evaluate aquatic programs and activities.
• Provide weekly in-service trainings to lifeguards.
• Handle program registrations, center use, and rentals and provide customer service.
