Job summary

Sinclair Community College is seeking an Anatomy and Physiology adjunct instructor to teach on our Mason, OH campus (Courseview Campus) and other sites. The position emphasizes lab-supported instruction on Tuesdays and Thursdays with 9:30 AM to 3:50 PM teaching hours.

Starting pay is $1,046 per credit hour; applicants must reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky or be able to work in these states. A master’s degree in biology or 18 biology credits are required, with transcripts and background

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biology or a master’s with 18 biology credits.
• Prior teaching experience in human anatomy and physiology preferred.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a diverse college community.

Responsibilities

• Teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare syllabi for all sections per policies.
• Employ appropriate teaching methods and instructional technology.
• Modify instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Support classroom and online efforts to promote student learning.
• Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Submit final grade rosters by deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Adjunct Faculty cannot be assigned to teach more than 12 credit hours per semester.
