Job summary

AmeriCorps is seeking a Program Strategist to support capacity-building projects and outreach across communities in Kansas. You will plan, track, and manage activities, prepare updates, and help design efficient program systems. Collaboration with partners and funders is essential.

You will contribute ideas, conduct research, and develop resources like manuals and training materials, while engaging with student organizations and community groups to advance program goals.

Qualifications

  • Requires some college education and strong communication skills.
  • Experience in planning and evaluating programs helpful.
  • Proficiency in creating manuals, training materials, and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Support capacity-building projects and outreach efforts.

  • Prepare updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Design and evaluate program systems, workflows, and operations.
  • Attend community events and build partnerships with student orgs and funders.
  • Source and secure program resources and manage inventories.

Job description

Join CSC in supporting children, families, and communities. Members will support program initiatives and outreach efforts by planning and managing capacity-building projects, contributing ideas and research, securing resources, and building relationships with program partners.

Member Duties
  • Plan and manage capacity-building project
  • Track project progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions
  • Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations
  • Design, implement, and evaluate program systems, workflows, and operational processes
  • Streamline program operations
  • Contribute ideas and research
  • Conduct literature reviews and track trends
  • Create program manuals, policies, training materials, intervention templates, resources, and handouts
  • Documentation tracking and data compilation
  • Analyze program data
  • Build relationships with program partners, stakeholders, and funders
  • Cultivate relationships with student organizations, campus partners, and community groups
  • Create materials and deliver presentations
  • Source and secure program resources
  • Assist with program inventory
  • Attend community initiatives including program events, fundraisers, donation drives, and mentor appreciation events
