Southview Acres Healthcare Center is seeking a Part Time AM Laundry Aide to support our skilled nursing facility in Minnesota. The role focuses on performing a full range of laundry services to ensure residents’ clothing and linen are clean, ready, and properly handled under supervision.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, ironing where needed, and distributing clean laundry to resident rooms or storage areas while adhering to infection control procedures and resident rights.

Qualifications

• Provides basic laundry tasks including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing clean items.

Responsibilities

• Gathers soiled laundry from throughout the facility and transports it to the laundry area.
• Sorts laundry by color, fabric, and type for washing.
• Loads washers/dryers and sets cycles, temperatures, and detergents as required.
• Distributes clean laundry to resident rooms or storage areas.
• Maintains laundry area and equipment per procedures and infection control guidelines.
