Jersey College in the United States is seeking an Algebra Adjunct Instructor for a one-day-per-week morning slot (Thursdays, 8am–11am) to support nursing students at the RN/PN level. The role involves preparing student progress reports, maintaining attendance, and evaluating competence within the program framework.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, with a master’s degree preferred.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school.
Master's degree preferred.
Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.

Preparing student progress reports and grade reports.
Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records.
Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency.
Attending faculty meetings.
Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses.
Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.
