Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an Ethic Educator to support the Nursing Program with Wednesday shifts from 8am to 11am. You will prepare progress and grade reports, track attendance, evaluate student competence, and deliver lessons to RN/PN students in a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with teaching hours in the discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred, and prior teaching experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school.
• Master degree is preferred
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration
