Job summary

Allied Universal in Richmond, VA is seeking a Security Officer for Part-Time Alarm Response Patrol to monitor client sites, deter incidents, and support a secure environment.

You will respond to alarms, perform regular patrols, and provide professional customer service. Applicants should be 18+ for unarmed roles, with a guard card/license preferred and a background check as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; duties vary by client site.
