Job summary

Allied Universal in Arlington, VA is seeking a Security Officer Alarm Panel Event Interpretation for a part-time role. You will serve and safeguard clients, support alarm response, and manage access control while delivering excellent customer service across tech, media and other sectors.

Qualifications

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout corporate office areas, technology workspaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
