Job summary

Allied Universal in Minooka, IL is seeking a Security Officer Alarm Panel Operator for a part-time role. You will monitor assigned areas, support access control, respond to alarm activity, and provide high-quality customer service.

The position offers a flexible schedule with Daytime and Weekend shifts; pay rate is $19.47 per hour. Candidates should be at least 18 (21 for armed) and have a high school diploma; background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service per site policies and emergency response procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Verify credentials, document visitor/contractor entry, and direct individuals per procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift handoffs per site requirements.
