Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operator in Ashburn, VA. The role involves monitoring, access control, and alarm response for a financial institution location, delivering excellent customer service.

You will perform overnight patrols Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, verify credentials, and report incidents. A background check and drug screen are required; licensing may apply where required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security experience.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate incident and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and incidents.
