Job summary

Gulf Shores International Airport is seeking a part-time Operations Coordinator to support daily operations, security, and customer service within the airport environment. The role requires coordinating with staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations during shifts.

The ideal candidate will help monitor security systems, manage traffic flow, and assist with compliance to FAR Parts 77 and 139, TSR Part 1542, and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation/Airport Management preferred but not required.
• High School Education required.
• Ability to pass FBI fingerprint-based background check and pre-hire/random drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate use of airport facilities and manage traffic flow during shift.
• Oversee security and CCTV, respond to alarms, and report findings.
• Ensure operations comply with FAR Parts 77/139 and TSR Part 1542; interact with passengers and tenants.
