Job summary

University of Washington's Continuum College seeks part-time Course Developers for AI and Digital Health non-credit programs. You will work with an instructional designer, program manager, and video production specialist to build content that helps adult learners expand skills and advance their careers.

Responsibilities include creating readings, quizzes, activities, slide decks, and teaching notes; ensuring accessibility; meeting milestones; and attending kickoff/check-ins, with some sessions

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, digital health transformation, or related fields.
• Ability to deliver educational experiences beyond traditional classrooms.
• Ability to work with individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Prior teaching experience with adult learners is desirable.
• Experience teaching online is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with instructional designer and content team to build high-quality course curricula.
• Create readings, assessments, activities, and slide content with instructor notes.
• Produce scripts and coordinate video or audio production.
• Ensure accessibility and compliance with university standards.
• Meet deliverables on contract milestones; participate in kickoff and check-in meetings.
• Respond to feedback from UW staff and instructors.
• Complete relevant training and stay updated on tools.
