UWC2 Extension Lecturers / Course Developers are Academic Staff, not faculty.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in creative nonfiction writing and related genres.
• Flexible to deliver education beyond a traditional classroom format.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Preferred: experience teaching adults and online instruction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team and subject matter experts to create course curriculum.
• Develop scripts and video/audio content for non-credit courses.
• Create teaching notes to orient future instructors.
• Ensure materials meet accessibility standards.
• Deliver all work on time per contract and SOW.
• Incorporate feedback from staff and advisory board.
• Join project kick-off and scope meetings; participate in check-ins.
• Complete required learning technology training.
