D’Youville University’s Patricia H. Garman School of Nursing invites applications for a part‑time faculty role to provide leadership in teaching, service, and scholarly activity. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Faculty rank will be commensurate with education and qualifications. The successful candidate will develop and evaluate nursing education programs, teach across multiple modalities, and participate in governance, accreditation, and community engagement

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Master’s degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program.
• Unencumbered RN license and APRN license with national certification in AGACNP (or NY eligibility).
• Three to five years in higher‑education nursing with a record of teaching, service, and research.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs within a shared governance setting.
• Teach using a variety of strategies—lecture, lab/clinical, online, and hybrid.
• Support Boyer model of scholarship across teaching, discovery, application, implementation, and engagement.
• Engage in advising, mentoring, and service to students and committees.
• Contribute to accreditation activities and program development.
