Job summary

Global Kids in New York, NY seeks a Part-Time Site Coordinator to lead on-site operations for the afterschool program. You will co-supervise Group Leaders, design engaging workshops, and serve as the liaison between school stakeholders and the program.

The role emphasizes safe, enriching activities, equity, and inclusive practices, with weekly 25–28 hours, Monday–Friday. Prior supervision and youth development experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or youth development setting.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point person for program operations and logistics.
• Co-supervise Group Leaders, providing guidance and feedback.
• Monitor staff performance and assist with scheduling, attendance, and coverage needs.
• Design and facilitate interactive, age-appropriate workshops aligned with student interests.
• Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum and enrichment activities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment encouraging student participation.
• Act as primary on-site contact for school administrators, teachers, and families.
• Maintain open, professional communication with school stakeholders.
• Address and resolve on-site issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with program policies, safety procedures, and attendance tracking.
• Support data collection and reporting related to participation and outcomes.
• Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and site cleanliness.
