Job summary

KIPP Global Kids in New York, NY is seeking a Part-Time Site Coordinator to lead on-site operations for the afterschool program. You will supervise staff, design engaging workshops, and serve as the main liaison with school stakeholders to ensure a safe, enriching environment for students.

Qualifications

  • Monitor staff performance and assist with scheduling, attendance, and coverage needs.
  • Design and facilitate interactive, age-appropriate workshops that align with student interests and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum and enrichment activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for school administrators, teachers, and families.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with school stakeholders to ensure alignment with school culture and expectations.
  • Address and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with program policies, safety procedures, and attendance tracking.
  • Support data collection and reporting efforts related to student participation and program outcomes.
  • Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and site cleanliness.

Position Summary:

The Part-Time Site Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the KIPP Global Kids afterschool program.
