Job summary

Global Kids, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Site Coordinator to lead KIPP Global Kids afterschool programs in New York. The on-site leader will ensure a safe, engaging environment and co-supervise staff while developing student workshops aligned with age and development.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, communicating with school stakeholders, and guiding curriculum and enrichment activities for elementary students. This 25–28 hour weekly role runs Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or youth development setting.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to design and lead engaging workshops and activities.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point person for all program operations and logistics.
• Co-supervise Group Leaders, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality student engagement.
• Monitor staff performance and assist with scheduling, attendance, and coverage needs.
• Design and facilitate interactive, age-appropriate workshops that align with student interests and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum and enrichment activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for school administrators, teachers, and families.
• Maintain open and professional communication with school stakeholders to ensure alignment with school culture and expectations.
• Address and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with program policies, safety procedures, and attendance tracking.
• Support data collection and reporting efforts related to student participation and program outcomes.
• Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and site cleanliness.
