Job summary

Kamaʻāina Kids, Hawaiʻi’s largest locally owned nonprofit serving children and families, seeks an experienced After School Site Coordinator to lead daily program operations at Makalapa site. This role suits teachers, aides, paraprofessionals, and youth leaders who want to guide a team while staying hands-on with keiki.

The position offers a part-time schedule (1:30 PM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with a $22–$26/hour pay rate and a $1,000 hiring bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom, after-school, or youth programs.
• Ability to lead, organize, and support a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Take lead on daily program operations and family communication.
• Support staff and coach Group Leaders to ensure quality.
• Oversee homework support and academic enrichment activities.
• Lead STEM projects, arts & crafts, and cooking activities.
• Supervise outdoor play, games, and sports.
• Ensure smooth transitions from school to after-school care.
