Job summary

Montessori School of Durham is seeking a part-time classroom assistant for afternoons, from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, year-round. The role involves engaging with children, supporting teachers in activities, and supervising playground time.

Qualifications

• Ability to work respectfully with children, colleagues and families.
• Ability to physically engage with children, including getting up and down off the floor.
• Willingness to learn and follow Montessori principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom activities and playground supervision.
