Job summary

Paragon Prep is seeking an Aftercare Assistant to support the after-school program for PK-8th grade students. This part-time role (20 hours per week) involves supervising activities, assisting with homework, and creating a nurturing environment beyond school hours at Paragon Prep.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience with children, and a demonstrated ability to pass background checks while showing patience, energy, and strong communication within a team.

Qualifications

• Positive, energetic, and patient demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assist students with homework and educational activities, providing guidance and supervision.
• Plan and execute engaging after-school activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play.
• Collaborate with the school team to enhance the student experience and foster a positive learning environment.
