Job summary

St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School is seeking a Part-Time Aftercare Assistant Teacher to supervise and engage students in our after-school program for grades PK3 through Grade 8. The role is 17.5 hours per week, requiring a High School Diploma, dependable teamwork, and strong communication.

Applicants must pass background/reference checks and Safe Environment Training as part of our Catholic mission. Experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Criminal background and reference checks are required.
• Safe Environment Training must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with snack distribution and cleanup.
• Support homework time and enrichment activities.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for students.
• Collaborate with Aftercare Supervisor and team.
