Job summary

California Teaching Fellows Foundation (CTFF) is seeking part-time Teaching Fellows to support TK-12 students in after-school programs across Kings County, Fresno, and surrounding areas. You will monitor student learning, prepare lesson plans, and provide individual and group tutoring to ensure a safe, structured learning environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, U.S. work authorization, and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English language, including spelling, grammar, and composition.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and mentor student learning activities daily.
• Develop lesson plans and establish clear objectives for each day.
• Submit lesson plans to Teaching Fellows, ensuring target standards are met.
• Provide individual and group tutoring.
• Prepare reports to track student progress and accomplishments.
• Enforce behavioral rules and procedures to maintain order.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and behavior.
• Ensure equipment and materials are used properly.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and trainings.
• Offer opinions and suggestions on program decisions.
