California Teaching Fellows Foundation (CTFF) is seeking Teaching Fellows to support TK-12 students in expanded learning programs. You will tutor, guide, and support young learners in a structured, safe environment, helping them meet daily objectives.

Role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, development of lesson plans, and behavior support, with emphasis on safety and consistency across districts.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Completion of 48 college units or passage of approved exam to meet NCLB requirements.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Understanding of educational standards and public school system.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and TB exam.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and mentor student learning activities daily.
• Develop lesson plans and daily objectives.
• Submit lesson plans ensuring target standards are met.
• Provide individual and group tutoring.
• Prepare reports to track student progress and accomplishments.
• Enforce behavioral rules and procedures to maintain order.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and behavior.
• Ensure equipment and materials are used properly.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and trainings.
