California Teaching Fellows Foundation in Tulare County, CA is seeking a part-time Teaching Fellow to support TK-12 students in expanded learning programs. You will tutor, guide, and supervise youth after school, while maintaining a safe, structured environment and communicating clear objectives.

Responsibilities include creating and following daily lesson plans, reporting on student progress, enforcing behavior standards, and collaborating with CTFF staff to align with district goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of 48 college units or passage of an approved exam (NCLB).
• Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and TB exam.

Responsabilités

• Tutor youth individually and in groups to support academic progress.
• Prepare and communicate clear lesson objectives and daily lesson plans.
• Submit lesson plans aligned with target standards.
• Enforce rules for behavior and maintain order in learning environments.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and social development.
• Provide bathroom assistance and support for independence where needed.
