Job summary

Switzerland County School Corporation is seeking a Site Coordinator to support the Program Director with after-school activities at Switzerland County Elementary School in Vevay, Indiana.

This part-time grant role requires 5 hours per day, 180 days, and mentors students while keeping records. Pay is $18 per hour with potential annual earnings around $17,100; travel to meetings and overnight conferences may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a coordinator or relevant positions.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Tech savvy; proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Word and Excel.
• Must be able to travel to meetings and attend overnight conferences.
• Must be well organized and submit required reports in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• The Site Coordinator is responsible for the facility during the after school program
• Assist the Program Director with planning activities and other programs within their building
• Help provide a safe environment within their building
• Must be able to mentor and lead young children
• Must be able to participate and instruct students during their physical activities
• Attend all required training and meetings
• Inventory supplies and equipment
• Submit all state and federal reports in a timely manner
• Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda within their building
• Create a positive relationship with students and staff
• Keep updated records and maintains proper paperwork
