Job summary

Warm Springs Middle School in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, seeks a MC After 3 Site Coordinator on an as-needed basis. This role offers up to 20 hours per week for up to 27 nonconsecutive weeks per school year, at $29.00 per hour, starting immediately.

The position reports to the Program Director/Building Principal and requires coordination of after-school activities, staff supervision, and collaboration with partners. Application deadline Sept 16, 2026.

Qualifications

• MA or BA in a "student related field" such as Elementary or Secondary Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Child/Youth Development, Child Guidance/Counseling, Child Psychology, Family Studies, Social Work, or Human Services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and direction to manage the after-school program.
• Be in attendance at the after-school program daily.
• Supervise and monitor staff.
• Work in partnership with school-day and partner agencies.
• Manage the recruitment and retention of students.
• Plan and conduct parent and family service events.
• Facilitate communication to all staff with teachers, principals, parents, community partners and the Program Director.
• Ensure that the program has a posted schedule and daily plans with staff assigned to specific duties.
• Maintain all staff and student attendance and enrollments records and insure that all records are up to date.
• Attend all mandatory meetings, conferences and trainings.
• Enforce program policies and procedures.
• Distribute enrollment forms, emergency contact sheets and program guidelines to families and school members.
• Ensure student/staff safety.
• Maintain positive school-day and after-school relationships.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, students, staff, administration and community partners.
