Job summary

Read Better Be Better is seeking part-time After-School Literacy Program Coaches to guide a cohort of young Readers and Leaders in Mesa, AZ. The role includes facilitating sessions, supporting curriculum progress, and creating a positive learning environment.

You will train with the program, join weekly coordinator meetings, and participate in ongoing professional development. Must have a High School Diploma or GED; preference for those in relevant degree programs or with school-based child-care

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Preferred Candidates are enrolled in a relevant degree program (i.e. teaching, educational studies, youth & early childhood development, social justice, etc.) OR have experience working with children in a school setting.
• Classroom management skills and a patient personality are key components we look for in our Program Coaches.
