Job summary

Innovation Learning is hiring a Resilience Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at the Salem-Keizer School District site (Auburn and Eyre Elementary). This part-time position runs before and after school, during school breaks and summer programs, with hours daily 2:10 PM to 4:00 PM.

You will mentor students, support academics, lead enrichment and recreation, and help build social-emotional skills while ensuring safety and following all policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children in schools, childcare programs, camps or youth organizations preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Location: School-Based Program Site - Salem-Keizer School District (Auburn and Eyre Elementary Schools)

Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership

Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)

Monday-Friday: 2:10PM-4:00PM

We are looking for a candidate who is available to work the full schedule as listed above. We cannot accommodate partial shifts. This position is through the 2026-2027 school year.

Pay: $21-24/hour, Based on experience and region

Position Overview

This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

State Requirements:

Candidates must be 18 years old and meet one of the following:

• At least 240 hours of school-aged training completed within the past 5 years
• Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Special Education, Physical Education, Recreation, Human Development, Child and Family Studies, etc.
• Step 6 or higher on the Oregon Registry

Physical Requirements

• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
