Job summary

Right At School is hiring part‑time Educators to work at Del Valle area schools, delivering before/after school care, enrichment activities, and supervision. Gain hands‑on experience in education while helping students develop essential skills.

Pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, depending on education and experience. Schedule includes weekdays after school, with no weekends, and on‑site roles at school sites in Texas.

Qualifications

• Six months of previous experience in childcare in a group licensed childcare setting or school-type setting (will require verification).
• High School Diploma/GED
• Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus
• Live within the listed school district area
• 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students at the start of each session; take attendance and maintain accurate records
• Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons appropriate for the age group you’re working with
• Facilitate homework time and support with academic tasks as needed
• Supervise students during free play, snack time, and transitions, ensuring a safe and structured environment
• Address minor conflicts or behavior issues using positive guidance techniques
• Communicate with parents/guardians at pick‑up and drop‑off regarding their child’s day
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to your Program Manager or site lead promptly; log incident reports
• Set up and clean up program space and materials each day
• Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with other staff
