Job summary

Applitrack's Newington Public School is seeking an After-School Program Facilitator to supervise 3 to 8 students on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm, managing them until pick-up. The daily rate is $100.

Responsibilities include planning diverse activities, overseeing student safety, and maintaining communication with staff and parents. High school diploma required; background check is necessary. Reports to the Principal.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma required; degree in education or related field preferred.
• Experience with leading after-school programs preferred.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement after-school activities aligned with developmental goals.
• Identify students' needs and interests to tailor activities.
• Plan a structured schedule balancing educational, recreational and social components.
• Develop age-appropriate activities aligned with standards and program goals.
• Monitor and evaluate activity effectiveness based on engagement and feedback.
