Job summary

Webster Central School District is seeking part-time student helpers for after-school Buildings & Grounds tasks. Open to motivated high school students 16+ to assist with cleaning, maintenance, and seasonal outdoor duties after school hours.

Shifts run Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–7:00pm, ~15–20 hours weekly. Starting wage is $15.50 per hour, with duties including landscaping, snow removal, and light facility upkeep. Apply to join our year-round team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must possess a valid NYS Working Permit (required for students under the age of 18).
• Able to handle shoveling, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to excellent attendance.
• Must be able to follow direction and work independently at times.

Responsibilities

• Fall/Spring: Landscaping tasks such as raking leaves, clearing debris, weeding garden beds, and preparing grounds.
• Winter: Shoveling sidewalks and entrances after snow events, spreading salt/ice-melt.
• Year Round: Moving furniture, assisting with supply inventory, light maintenance organization, and facility cleaning.
