Job summary

Marlborough Public Schools seeks a Custodian – Houseworker for PAWS Academy at Hildreth School (0.25 FTE) & Goodnow Brothers Elementary School (0.75 FTE) on the evening shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. This is a 2026-2027, year‑round, 12‑month position starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include grounds upkeep, snow removal, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the learning environment as directed by principals and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to understand spoken and written English.
• Physical and mental capabilities to perform the job.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Grounds upkeep, snow removal.
• Perform all other general duties as indicated by the Principal, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, the Custodial Supervisor or his/her designee, and policies of the Marlborough School Committee.
