Job summary

Westfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Seasonal Outdoor Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team. This position performs groundskeeping, landscaping, and general outdoor maintenance to keep school campuses safe, attractive, and well-maintained for students, staff, and the community.

Starting date is immediate and this seasonal role covers summer and fall. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and pass a background check

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred but not required.
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor up to 50 lbs.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Background check and child abuse clearance as required by state law.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; work independently or with a team.

• Landscaping & groundskeeping: operate riding and push mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and blowers.
