Job summary

Right At School in Kentucky is seeking an Educator to support our before- and after-school programs. You will help deliver safe, engaging activities and foster a love of learning aligned with our program goals.

Lead daily activities, attend program meetings, and collaborate with children, families, staff, and school partners. This is a part-time, split-shift role with morning and afternoon blocks, totaling up to about 21.25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• Works well in a team environment
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
• Ability to lift 25lbs
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, and progress; encourage collaboration and accountability
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: plan and lead educational and enjoyable activities and curriculum
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and effective classroom management
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment, address hazards, and follow safety protocols
• Communication: interact with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
