Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is seeking an After School Dance Teacher to lead dance classes for elementary students in multiple Bay Area schools. This part-time role offers 2-5 hours per week at $50.00–$65.00 per hour, with in-person classes mostly on weekdays.

Candidates must be local to the US Bay Area, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work independently within a small team. Training and background checks may be required, and a flexible schedule is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application.
• Experience in teaching or playing pickleball/tennis preferred but not required.
• USPTA/PTR certification preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with children and managing a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Manage a class of 8-16 students aged 5-10 years.
• Teach various dance forms to elementary students.
• Attend up to two days of unpaid training/shadowing.
• Transport equipment and set up for each class.
• Take attendance and sign in/out students.
• Interact with parents and school staff; provide feedback.
• Capture photos each session of kids in action.
