Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is seeking a part-time after-school coach for programs across the Bay Area. Classes run Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, typically 1 hour per class with optional 30 minutes of pre-care. Pay is $50–$65 per session, with equipment provided.

The role involves teaching children aged 5–10 using provided lesson plans, managing 8–16 students, and attending a 2-day training. Transportation is required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Must be 19+ years old and local to the Bay Area.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment is provided; coach should have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance, manage sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
