Qualifications

• Valid State Teaching Certification required (Elementary or relevant content area).
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to successfully complete a Level 2 background check and drug screening.
• Dependable, organized, and able to collaborate with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned academic instruction in core subject areas.
• Implement project-based learning (PBL) and enrichment activities.
• Provide targeted interventions, small-group instruction, and homework assistance.
• Collaborate with school-day teachers and program staff to align instruction.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to data collection for grant requirements.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
