Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is seeking a Lead Certified Teacher for the 21st Century Program in Orlando, FL. This part-time role leads instructional practice and guides Certified Teachers within the 21st CCLC program.

You will coach teachers, coordinate curriculum, analyze progress data, and ensure alignment with grant requirements while supporting positive youth outcomes in a dynamic club setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Florida Educator Certificate required.
• Minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience.
• At least one year of teaching in a Title I school environment.
• Minimum one year in instructional leadership (lead/mentor role).
• Experience designing and delivering project- or problem-based instruction.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and provide targeted support.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement academic programming in reading, math, and science.
• Lead lesson planning with teachers to ensure high-quality instruction.
• Provide direct instruction and targeted interventions based on data.
• Analyze student data to guide instructional planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with directors, staff, families and schools to support program quality.
• Oversee data collection, attendance, and program reporting per grant requirements.
