The ideal candidate holds a Florida Professional Educator Certification and at least three years of classroom experience, including Title I settings, and can differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Florida Professional Educator Certification required, with appropriate certification coverage for assigned instructional areas.
• Minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience required, with at least one year in a Title I environment.
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and provide targeted academic support.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities in reading, math, and science aligned with the 21st CCLC program model and curriculum.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans for academic and enrichment activities per program expectations.
• Provide daily tutoring, differentiated instruction, and targeted academic support responsive to students’ needs.
• Integrate project- and problem-based learning, educational technology, and effective instructional strategies.
• Administer and analyze grant-required assessments to monitor progress and inform planning.
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher and school-day personnel to review student progress and determine instructional approaches.
• Maintain instructional materials, equipment, and supplies and report needs to supervisor.
