Job summary

Dramatic Education, Inc. is seeking a Lead Teaching Artist Assistant for William Frangus Elementary in Orlando to support 21st Century Community Learning Centers before- and after-school programs.

The role focuses on delivering literacy, mathematics, and S.T.R.E.A.M.-based activities, providing small group instruction, and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment. Prior childcare/education experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to complete Level 2 background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supports delivery of academic and enrichment programming aligned with 21st CCLC goals.
• Provides small group instruction, tutoring, and homework assistance.
• Assists with classroom management to maintain a safe, structured, inclusive learning environment.
• Supervises students during transitions, meals, and program activities.
• Collaborates with program staff and school-day teachers to align enrichment activities.
