Job summary

A joint venture in aerospace is seeking a Computer Aided Design Drafter Co-op to assist with engineering drawings and designs. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a CAD training program and possess basic CAD experience. Responsibilities include creating detailed drawings, following established standards, and ensuring accuracy. The position offers flexible hours at Arnold AFB, Tennessee, with a pay rate ranging from $19.96 to $27.00 per hour. U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Computer Aided Design training program with at least six months of training.
• Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense NACI level clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete engineering drawings or diagrams.
• Work under direction in graphic preparation of drawings.
• Develop engineering drawings from sketches or notes.
• Make basic mathematical calculations related to drawings.
• Prepare 'as-built' drawings reflecting changes during construction.
• Wear PPE as per company policy.
• Perform other duties as required.
