A veteran-owned engineering firm is looking for a Drafter to work with a diverse team to create high-quality 2D and 3D drawings for aircraft systems. The ideal candidate should have 5-12 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace drafting, along with proficiency in CAD tools. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-12 years experience in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace drafting.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models for aircraft systems.
• Translate engineering concepts into detailed engineering drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with Army, DoD, and industry standards.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD tools

Understanding of engineering drawing standards

Strong dimensional tolerancing (GD&T)

Ability to interpret engineering data

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree or technical drafting certificate
