Job summary

East Central College is looking for a part-time Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) Integrated Education Instructor. This role involves teaching adult learners, creating and scheduling group instructions, and facilitating transitions to employment or further education. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and preferably some K12 teaching experience. The position allows for up to 17 hours of work per week, with a starting rate of $20 per hour. Qualifications

• Completion of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• K12 Teaching Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and tutor students in the AEL program enrolled in integrated education and training courses.
• Prepare and present lessons for students.
• Create integrated education lessons in reading, language and math.
• Direct, guide and evaluate student progress.
• Maintain appropriate records for the program, student progress.
