These positions could be located at any of the Adult Learning Centers in the five-county service delivery area and are supervised by the Director(s) of Instruction for Adult Education.

The role involves teaching basic academic skills in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, or English as a Second Language, following College and Career Readiness

• Excellent organizational, computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Available to teach daytime and/or evening classes and maintain a safe classroom environment.

Part Time Adult Education Substitute Instructor, Various/Multiple to include Paulding Campus, North Metro Campus, Marietta Campus, Summer Hill Complex and to include morning and evening classes.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Chattahoochee Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Adult Education Part Time Substitute Instructor. These positions could be located at any of the Adult Learning Centers in the five-county service delivery area and are under the supervision of the Director(s) of Instruction for Adult Education. These positions will involve teaching basic academic skills in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, or English as a Second Language. These positions would work with instructors to teach lessons according to the College and Career Readiness Standards. Must be available to teach daytime and/or evening classes, maintain a safe and secure classroom environment, and participate in professional development activities, if desired.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational Level: A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university preferably in education, math, science, business, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational, computer, communication, and interpersonal skills

SALARY/BENEFITS

Salary is $22.50 per hour. There are no State of Georgia benefits associated with this position.
